Every year, the city of Florissant, MO, one of the oldest cities in the state of Missouri, hosts a fall festival, and every year the festival grows bigger and bigger. October 8th will be Florissant 26th year hosting the fall festival in old town Florissant, and the line-up of entertainment and food is better than last year. There will be food vendors, live music, a dog show, a car show, pony rides, a pumpkin decorating station, retail/business vendors, and local news coverage from KMOV Great Day St Louis.
The fall festival events will start promptly at 10am and end at 5pm and is free to everyone that would like to attend. The cool thing about every event is that they’re sponsor by local Florissant businesses, giving residents and non-residents even more exposure to the city of Florissant. All the fall festivals events will be in what residents like to call Old Town Florissant which radius is over 100 blocks long.
There is activities and events for the whole family and for all ages, things like the craft fair/flea market, children’s art activities at Florissant City Hall, business booths, dog show/ doggie contest, where the best doggie costume will be one of the categorizes, a chalk walk where participants can display their artistic abilities, a veteran’s booth, where local veterans discuss all the wonderful things they are doing in the community, pony rides, and a celebration to Florissant and its rich history.
Even though the fall festival is held in Florissant, people from all over St. Louis come out with their family to enjoy the festivity, saying “that it’s a good time for the whole family.” And the award-winning city has even caught the attention of local news station KMOV and their show called, Great Day St Louis, that will air live on October 6th from Florissant to promote the Fall Festival.
