In July 2020, during the pandemic, while we were sheltering in place, Tiara began her own start-up business. As a mom, she always wanted to start a company that she could one day leave behind for her son and future grandchildren. On July 28, 2020, she posted a picture of some chocolate-covered strawberries she attempted to do for her mother because she was craving them. After posting the picture Tiara immediately began to get inboxes on Facebook asking how much I charge for chocolate-covered strawberries, even though she really hadn’t given it much thought. Tiara began to think that maybe this was the business she had been praying for.

So, she began to think about what her business name would be. After talking to lots of family about it Tiara’s big brother said Taste-T Delightful Treats, which is a play on the word tasty and the first letter initial of her first name T and Delightful because that’s how her mother describes the chocolate-covered strawberries, and Treats because she would be making chocolate covered treats.

Tiara began to work on flyers and created her first logo for her business in August, and She had a close relative who helped her register her business name as an LLC in the state of Missouri, which it currently still is.

After three years in business, Tiara doesn’t just sell chocolate-covered strawberries, but she also sells chocolate-covered apples, pineapples, caramel apples, candy apples, chocolate pretzels, turtle clusters, chocolate Rice Krispie’s treats, candy strawberries, truffles, and anything else you can dip in chocolate, caramel, and candy mix, because after all just like her favorite quote said “you have to seize the moment.” Taste-T Delightful Treats' slogan for the business is “Satisfying Your Chocolate Craving,” because that’s how it started, by satisfying her mother’s craving for chocolate-covered strawberries.

In December of last year, Tiara and her older sister started a second business together called Two Sisters Two Businesses One Vision, combining their dessert businesses to cater dessert tables for booked events. While her older sister bakes all the goodies and dips all the treats. Tiara’s son is currently working as a part-time employee from time to time, and she and her sister are currently searching for a building that they can run their businesses out of.
